1 · Who we are
PhysiqCoach is operated by DP Ventures FZ-LLC, a company registered in the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone, United Arab Emirates (licence 5040009, registration 0000004094086), at CWEP5239, Compass Building, Al Shohada Road, Al Hamra Industrial, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.
DP Ventures FZ-LLC is the data controller — we decide what data is collected and why. This policy covers the PhysiqCoach app and the website physiq.coach.

2 · The short version
- We collect what the app needs to build your training and nutrition plan, and nothing else.
- That includes health information — injuries, health conditions, pregnancy status, and some lifestyle and eating-habit answers. We ask for your explicit permission before any of it.
- PhysiqCoach does not program around health conditions. It flags them, tells you so, and points you to the coach. Your health conditions and pregnancy status are never sent to our AI provider.
- We do not collect photographs, blood work, lab results or medical documents. There is nothing to upload.
- We do not collect your location, your contacts, or any advertising identifier.
- No advertising, no tracking, no analytics software — in the app or on the website. Nothing is sold to anyone. Ever.
- Your plan is generated with Anthropic's Claude. Your data is never used to train AI models.
- Your data is stored in Sydney, Australia.
- You can delete your account, and everything in it, from inside the app.
- Questions: support@physiq.coach — a person answers.
3 · What we collect in the app
3.1 Account
Email address, first name, and a password stored only in hashed form. There is no social login; we receive nothing about you from Google, Apple or Facebook. We record when you accepted these terms and which version.
3.2 About your body and training
| Date of birth, gender | Used in the body-composition and nutrition calculations |
| Height, current weight, target weight, your estimate of your build | The plan is derived from these |
| Training experience, lifting days per week (3, 4 or 5), preferred training time | Decide the split and starting intensity |
| Equipment you have (gym or home, heaviest dumbbell) | Filters which exercises can be prescribed |
| Ten-rep-max for bench press and squat; pull-up and dip level — or "I don't know my numbers" | Set your starting loads. If you don't know them, we start from a cautious estimate and correct it from your first sessions |
| Roughly how many steps you walk a day (a range you pick) | Sets your daily step target, raised gradually |
| The cardio you enjoy (for example walking, cycling, swimming) | Decides which easy cardio sessions go into your plan |
| Your goal and timeline | Shape the pace of the plan |
| Units, time zone | Display and scheduling only |
3.3 Health information — the sensitive part
| Injuries and physical limitations | Free text you write. Used to remove or replace movements |
| Health conditions | A fixed list you tick. Not programmed around — flagged, and you are pointed to the coach. Your plan is built as for a healthy adult, and the plan's text never gives advice about the condition |
| Pregnancy or postpartum status | Flagged the same way. The only effect on the plan: calories stay at maintenance, the same on every day |
| Pain you report | In weekly check-ins and when logging a set. Used to remove exercises that hurt |
We record when you gave consent and which wording you agreed to. If you tap "Not now", none of the questions in this table are asked and none of this is stored.
3.4 Food, habits and daily routine
Diet preference; food intolerances and allergies; foods you dislike; meals per day; eating patterns you recognise in yourself (for example "I tend to skip breakfast" or "I tend to binge then restrict"); smoking status; stress level; water intake; how active your job is; wake, sleep and meal times. We no longer ask about alcohol.
Some of these — eating patterns, smoking and stress — can say something about your health. We treat them as health information: they are used only to build and adjust your plan, and they are covered by the same consent and deletion rules as §3.3.
3.5 What you record while using the app
Weekly check-ins — weight, waist and other measurements, sleep, energy, digestion, pain, how many cardio sessions you did, roughly how many steps a day you walked, and anything you write in the notes. Logged sets — the weight you actually lifted, reps, how hard each set felt (very hard, moderate or too easy), and why a set fell short. Meals and ingredients you swap. Habits you tick off and meals you log. Which coaching messages you have seen. Your shopping-list ticks stay on your phone and are not sent to us.
3.6 If you are flagged and referred to the coach
When you tell us about a health condition, the app records that you were referred, which conditions caused it, and what you chose — email the coach, open the coaching page, or continue with the general plan. This is how we know the referral works.
If you tap "Email the coach", your own email app opens with the address
coaching@dusanperovic.com and a pre-written line listing the flags. Nothing is sent
unless you press send yourself. The coaching page opens with only ?src=app added to
the address — no name, email or health data.
3.7 Subscriptions
Apple processes every payment. We receive from Apple, through RevenueCat, which plan you have, when it started and renews, and whether it was cancelled or refunded — never your card, your name on the card or your billing address.
3.8 Technical
App version, and server logs of failed requests — for example when a plan fails to generate, we record the error and which account it belonged to so we can fix it. While your plan is being built, we store its progress (for example "meals selected") so the app can show you what is happening. There is no crash-reporting, analytics or tracking software in the app.
3.9 Apple Health (only if you turn it on)
If you connect Apple Health, the app reads your daily step count and your body weight. It uses them to show your steps against your daily target and to pre-fill the weight on your weekly check-in. The app does not write anything to Apple Health. Apple Health data is never used for advertising, never sold, and never shared with third parties, including our AI provider. You can switch access off at any time in iPhone Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → PhysiqCoach.
4 · What we never collect
- Photographs. The app has no camera or photo-library access
- Blood work, lab results, glucose or insulin values, medical documents
- Your location. No GPS, no IP-based location
- Your contacts, calendar or microphone. Apple Health is read only if you connect it, and only steps and weight (see 3.9)
- Advertising identifiers. There is no ad network
- Browsing or cross-app activity. No pixel, no third-party analytics, no tracking SDK
- Payment card details. Apple handles payment; we never see your card
- Biometrics. Face ID or Touch ID never leave your device
5 · Why we use it, and on what legal basis
| What we do | Why | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Create and run your account | You asked us to | Performance of a contract |
| Build and adjust your plan every week | It is the product | Performance of a contract |
| Use your health information (§3.3–3.4) to keep the plan safe and to flag conditions for the coach | To avoid prescribing something that could hurt you | Explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a)) |
| Record your referral choice (§3.6) | To know whether the referral is useful | Explicit consent (same) |
| Manage your subscription | To give you access you paid for | Performance of a contract |
| Service emails — password reset, account and subscription notices | Needed to run the account | Performance of a contract |
| Coaching messages in the app (for example your first-week guide or a recap) | Part of the coaching the app provides | Performance of a contract |
| Coaching emails — only when you miss two check-ins or finish a training block | To bring you back on track | Consent (only if you ticked the email box), withdrawable any time |
| Product updates and news | Only if you tick the box | Consent, withdrawable any time |
| Fix errors and keep the app working | Reliability | Legitimate interests |
We never use your data for advertising or marketing profiling, and no automated decision with legal or similarly significant effect is made about you.
6 · How the plan is generated — and what our AI provider sees
Your plan is produced by fixed, coded rules combined with Anthropic's Claude model.
Sent to Anthropic to generate your plan: your first name, age and body data (§3.2, including your step range and the cardio you enjoy), training history and logged sets (weight lifted and how hard each set felt), injuries and pain reports, food preferences and intolerances, meals you swapped to, the habits in §3.4, and your check-in answers and notes. Steps are sent only as a range, never day by day.
Never sent to Anthropic: your email address, your health conditions, your pregnancy status, any alcohol answer you gave before we stopped asking, your consent and referral records, and your subscription.
- Anthropic does not use this data to train its models — this is contractual under its commercial API terms
- Safety limits — removing exercises after an injury or pain report, removing foods you are allergic to, calculating your macronutrients — are enforced in our own code before the model sees anything, not left to the model
- A plan is a recommendation, not a decision about you
7 · Who sees your data
We do not sell data. We never have. There is no circumstance in which we would.
Inside the company: the coach (Dušan Perović, who runs DP Ventures FZ-LLC) can see client data in an admin view, to review plans, check quality and follow up on referrals. Nobody else at the company has access.
Service providers, each bound by a data processing agreement and allowed to use your data only as we instruct:
| Provider | What they do | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, login, file storage | Sydney, Australia |
| Anthropic | Generates your plan (see §6 for what it sees) | United States |
| Resend | Sends account and service emails | Tokyo, Japan |
| Apple | App distribution; processes every payment | Global |
| RevenueCat | Confirms purchases and subscription status with Apple. Receives your account ID and purchase records — never health data | United States |
| Google Workspace | Our business email, if you write to us | Global |
We may also disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect someone's life or safety.
8 · Where your data lives
Stored in Sydney, Australia. Plan generation sends the data in §6 to the United States. Emails are sent from Japan. Because we operate from the UAE and serve users elsewhere, your data crosses borders; where EU or UK law applies, these transfers rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses in our agreements with each provider.
9 · How long we keep it
| Your account and everything in it | As long as your account exists |
| After you delete your account | Removed immediately; backup copies clear within 30 days |
| Email delivery records | Up to 24 months, or until you delete your account, whichever is first |
| Website waitlist email (§12) | Until launch, or until you unsubscribe |
We do not keep an archive of deleted accounts.
10 · Your rights
Wherever you live, you can see what we hold, correct it, delete it, export it, withdraw consent (for health information or for emails) at any time, object to a use, and complain to your data protection authority.
Email support@physiq.coach. We respond within 30 days, free of charge.
Withdrawing health-data consent (Settings → Legal) removes your injuries, health conditions, pregnancy status, and your eating-pattern, smoking and stress answers (and any old alcohol answer) from your profile. Your plan then can no longer avoid movements that hurt you. We tell you this before you confirm.
11 · Deleting your account
Settings → Legal → Delete account, confirmed by typing DELETE. It is permanent.
It removes your profile, plans, check-ins, logged sets, measurements, habits, meal logs, meal swaps, coaching-message records, plan-building progress, referral and consent records, and email records. Backups clear within 30 days. We do not ask you to email us to leave.
Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Cancel it in your Apple ID settings, or it will keep renewing.
12 · The website (physiq.coach)
- Waitlist: if you join, we collect your email address. It is received by Formspree (our form provider) and stored in our database so we can send you the launch email. Every email has an unsubscribe link
- Hosting: the site is served by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address to deliver the page and protect it from attacks
- Fonts: the site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests them from Google's servers
- No analytics, no tracking, no cookies set by us, no advertising pixels
13 · Security
- Encrypted in transit and at rest
- Row-level security in the database — your rows are reachable only by you (and the coach's admin view), enforced by the database itself
- Passwords are hashed; we cannot see them
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the relevant authority within 72 hours of becoming aware.
14 · Age
PhysiqCoach is for adults. You must be 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we delete the account and its data.
15 · Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we tell you in the app and by email before it takes effect, and say what changed. Small corrections get a new "last updated" date.
